Roytec Global 70m Thickener supply for Copper Tailings

Roytec Global will be supplying a 70m thickener for a copper tailings duty to an international customer. The thickener has several unique design features including a hybrid concrete/steel tank (tank walls and launders in prefabricated steel sections).

Roytec Global’s RadFlow feed well technology allowed the client to select a thickener of smaller diameter than that estimated in previous project studies, resulting in significant capital savings. The thickener will also incorporate Roytec’s ETAQ forced dilution system, designed to allow accurate control of feed density for flocculant usage optimisation.
