Roytec Global engineers have in excess of 150 years of application experience in filtration, clarification, thickening and other mineral separation technologies.

Laboratory Testwork
Roytec Global has an in-house, well equipped laboratory able to test a variety of separation techniques. With fairly limited sample size, we are able to test flocculation, thickening, clarification, vacuum & pressure filtration, screening and flotation solutions. Different technology solutions will be compared in the laboratory for informed evaluation of the optimum choice.
Our partners in flotation (BGRIMM) and pressure filtration (Bokela) offer test facilities in China and Germany if required by clients.

Pilot Plant Testwork
We have a variety of Pilot Plant rigs for on-site verification of laboratory results. Our process engineers can conduct continuous pilot plant campaigns in 1 to 3 weeks and/or train the clients operators to produce the required data. Available pilot plants; Thickener / Pin Bed Clarifier / Filter Press / Flotation.
Research & Development
Roytec Global are well known for innovation in process and mechanical research and development. R&D is driven by real needs that our clients have and we have a history of unique solutions such as;
– RadFlow Thickener Feedwells; this state-of-the-art technology is the culmination of 5 years of thickener problem analysis, computational flow analysis, scale model research and full scale trials.
– Segmented Tank designs have been developed to meet our client’s requirement for minimum site erection periods. Advanced bolted section design & testing allows us to eliminate all site welding on our equipment.
Design
Roytec Global has invested heavily in specialised design tools for optimum & rapid production of engineering drawings. We use an automated iteration structural design program together with 3D dynamic models and a parametric modelling programme on SOLID WORKS, together with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) Programmes.
Project Management
Roytec Global’s reputation has been built on reliable delivery on-time and on-spec. Our project managers are empowered and motivated to meet this goal whether a small stand-alone piece of equipment or a package plant with multidiscipline requirements. The Roytec Global Board monitor regular updates on Project progress and get actively involved early, should problems arise.
Commissioning and Training
Often the key to successful hand-over to a client will be a comprehensive commissioning, optimisation and operator training programme. Roytec Global mechanical and process engineers will spend as long as is required to achieve optimised operation of our equipment before hand over to the client. We offer classroom & site training of client’s operators and maintenance staff to ensure sustainable performance of Roytec Global equipment.
Optimisation and Retrofitting
When changes occur on our clients’ process plants we are available to assist in re-configuring and/or re-commissioning the original equipment to get back to optimum performance. We often get called in to advise on poor performance of competitors equipment and retrofitting with state-of-the-art technology (such as the RadFlow thickener feedwell) can improve production and reduce costs.
On-going Support Services
Roytec Global have a team of support engineers, trained in our technologies to assist on-going operations. Whether our clients are looking for operational & maintenance advice, spare parts, service level agreements or maintenance contracts, Roytec Global put a high priority on after sales service.
