Roytec Global CCD Thickener Circuit for DRC mine

A Counter Current Decantation (CCD) circuit comprising 5 x 35m dia. Stainless Steel Thickeners are currently being supplied by Roytec Global for a major new mine in the DRC.

The CCD circuit has been designed for maximum copper & cobalt recovery after the acid leach step. Roytec Global’s revolutionary RadFlow Feedwell is being used along with auto feed dilution and supernatant pumping which allows for a completely flat CCD installation.

The mine has also purchased 4 other Roytec Global thickeners for pre-leach, post-leach, Fe-Mn & Co precipitation duties.
